    I know one more tale. Once upon a time there lived a young man by the name of Uchugey Uedyen and his brother- Kuhagan Khochugur. The best season of the year for Uchugey Uedyen was winter because he went hunting for hares, foxes, bears and won victories over them. Summer was the worst season for him. The best season of the year for Kuhagan Khochugur was summer because he grew wheat, potatoes on the plot and worked on the cattle-farm. He gathered rich harvest of wheat, potatoes and other different vegetables. He liked summer because the sun shone brightly and it was rainy and the wind blew sometimes. He spent many hours working on the plot without rest. Winter was the worst season for him because he didn`t work on the plot In summer.

    A fairy-tale about two fir-trees.
    Long, long ago there lived two little sisters – two little fir-trees in the green woods near a beautiful field-alaas. The elder sister fir-tree was a nice slender tree, but her fir-needles were not so green and beautiful. But the younger sister fir-tree was a beauty with the greenest thick luxuriant fir-needles. The elder sister was modest, kind-hearted. But the younger sister was naughty and cruel.
    Once in a cold winter morning a very big elk appeared and wanted to help herself with the greenest thick luxuriant fir-needles of the younger sister fir-tree. The elder sister fir-tree bared the way of the elk to save her sister tree. The elk got angry and tore into pieces the elder fir-tree’s fir-needles and ran away into the forest. The elder fir-tree was very ill for a long time. But her little sister fir-tree didn’t want to look after the elder sister.
    On the eve of New Year two men with a big axe appeared and wanted to cut down the younger sister fir-tree. The elder sister fir-tree wanted to bar the way of the men to save her sister-tree. But she was so weak after her long illness and couldn’t bar the men’s way. So the men cut down the young sister fir-tree and took her with them. The elder sister cried – her tears were rolling and rolling.
    At a New Year party the young sister fir-tree was at her best. She was standing in the middle of the hall decorated with colourful toys, lamps and she forgot about her elder sister her life.
    After the party some days later the younger sister fir-tree was thrown out into the yard and died.
